More and more Americans are concerned about global climate change and want to know what they can do to make a difference. The SRC is helping citizens make a difference by taking action in their communities, schools, and workplaces. Public sector organizations can join the SRC today and receive campaign materials, training, and technical support to improve the way their institutions are using energy.
The SRC states have also taken the ENERGY STAR Challenge. This national call to action encourages building owners to improve the efficiency of their buildings by 10% or more and to capitalize on the environmental benefits and cost savings that will result.
