Its talented staff of consultants specializes in solving complex problems that demand innovative, multidisciplinary thinking. Cadmus is a prime contractor for EPA's ENERGY STAR® for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Marketing & Media contracts, providing support services for energy efficiency and social marketing. Cadmus' other major practice areas include Drinking Water and Water Quality, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Renewable Energy, and Risk Assessment, among others.

SRC Program Manager: Julio Rovi
Julio Rovi, Cadmus, has 22 years of professional experience; degrees in engineering, policy, and the social sciences; and certifications in energy management, sustainable development, IAQ, and LEED™. Mr. Rovi also manages a public sector contract to support EPA's C&I ENERGY STAR work. Mr. Rovi is an energy efficiency expert who acts as a strategic advisor, marketer, facilitator, negotiator, and motivator to strategic efficiency partners, prospects, and program sponsors. He serves as lead marketer and facilitator across tasks, coordinating closely with the entire SRC team.

Katelyn Keefe

SRC Project Manager: Katelyn Keefe
Katelyn Keefe, Cadmus, works across Cadmus's Green Building and Environmental Health Solutions (EHS) teams. Ms. Keefe, who is LEED AP, provides outreach and communications support for the EPA's Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools (IAQ TfS) and Indoor Air Plus programs, as well as communications support for sixteen ENERGY STAR® New Homes markets across the nation. She served as a key team member for the EPA's 7th and 8th IAQ TfS Symposia as well as the 2nd Annual National Asthma Forum. Ms. Keefe graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2006.

SRC Technical Lead: Kudret Ütebay
Kudret Ütebay, Cadmus, has actively supported public sector clients in energy efficiency efforts for more than 5 years and has provided training on EPA's energy management tools, such as Portfolio Manager and Target Finder—playing a key role in monitoring and analyzing energy consumption data for more than 4,000 buildings. Mr. Ütebay has been involved with the development of automated benchmarking technologies and has trouble-shot extensively with partners during the technical development of automated uploading features for Portfolio Manager.

SRC Technical Lead: Robert Van Der Like
Robert Van Der Like, Cadmus, is a presenter, facilitator, and coordinator of energy efficiency and sustainable campus programs at K-12 school districts, colleges, and universities. He has served as President of Energy & Environmental Education Resources, Inc., Director of energy management for the Florida Association of School Business Officials (FASBO), and is Chair of the Sustainable Practices Committee of the Energy Services Coalition's National Board of Directors.

 

SRC Goals and Evaluation Manager : Daniel Lawlor
Mr. Lawlor's work at Cadmus has included a variety of policy, media, and communications related tasks. Currently, he helps to research current and pending energy efficiency legislation on both the state and federal level for ENERGY STAR in the Public Sector. He also contributes to the ENERGY STAR daily news monitoring, the monthly Logo Monitoring report, and the quarterly Internet logo monitoring report. The daily news monitoring provides a summary of news articles which contain ENERGY STAR and energy efficiency related stories and the logo monitoring reports provide an assessment of the ENERGY STAR logo among partners and non partners. Mr. Lawlor has also been instrumental in managing the Homes Outreach Partnership for ENERGY STAR where he has been responsible for coordinating outreach efforts for select home builders across the country.

 

SRC LEED and Buildings Activity Manager: Bob Jannarone
Bob Jannarone works on Cadmus' Building Performance Services team predominantly in support of the ENERGY STAR program for the Public Sector. For ENERGY STAR, Mr. Jannarone works to benchmark, analyze, and review energy and water data for facilities using Portfolio Manager. He serves Cadmus' clients by providing IT project support, such as coordinating logistics and facilitating Web-based training sessions, which help further educate the public on ENERGY STAR tools and resources. As part of the Commercial Building Design team at Cadmus, Mr. Jannarone has helped with efforts such as the 2007 ENERGY STAR Challenge for Architects, a campaign highlighting the energy savings and emissions prevention that architects can achieve with the aid of EPA's Target Finder tool. A graduate of Bucknell University with majors in History and Computer Science, he has provided database support in several areas of the ENERGY STAR program, as well as in Cadmus' work for EPA's Office of Water.

Founded in 1921, CEFPI functions as a convening organization to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices of planning, designing, building, renovating and maintaining learning environments.

Florida Solar Energy Center
The Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC) maintains the facilities, expertise, management, research and support staff to perform high-quality contract research. In recent years the Center has performed highly successful contract research for both public and private institutions and organizations, across the nation and internationally, with a significant part of this research focusing specifically on schools. Recent school projects have included the SunSmart Schools Program, Performance Enhanced Relocatable Classrooms (PERC), Utility Report Cards, and Building the Failure-Proof Building.

Public Technology Institute (PTI)
PTI's mission is to accelerate technology transfer and market transformation in local government. PTI, under the technical direction of Ronda Mosley, works with the SRC to promote energy performance throughout local governments. PTI and its Sustainability Council has been a very vocal advocate for energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction programs at the local government level. With prominent Council members like Austin, TX, and Arlington County, VA, PTI helps SRC test program ideas with leading governments.

The Sheinkopf Group is a woman-owned, small business providing consulting support and business management functions in the areas of energy management, energy audit services, and energy education as it relates to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and general energy education in the K–12, community college, and higher education sectors as well as the general public. The company provides training, program management, and related support for energy activities involving educators, students, business partners, sector stakeholders and others, helping agencies meet their mission requirements in this area. The firm also provides meeting planning, communication and outreach, and web design and related IT services to its clients.

Southface Energy Institute (SEI)
Southface promotes the transformation of the marketplace for sustainable practices. Its ongoing programs and related events have expanded to include the Home Energy Rating System (HERS), Residential Energy Code workshops, EarthCraft House builder training and Homebuilding School. They are the hosts of the Sustainable Atlanta Roundtable—a monthly forum attracting hundreds of metropolitan Atlanta professionals, policymakers, media and concerned citizens to discuss sustainable development issues for the southeast region. Southface has held charrettes, workshops, and training sessions, offered technical assistance, sat on advisory committees, conducted very well–attended public meetings, and published articles on EnergySmart Schools and high-performance buildings.
